Fibromyalgia, Candida, & Leaky Gut Syndrome

We often hear of the term, Leaky Gut, but just exactly what is it and why does it develop? When the lining of the intestines becomes repeatedly irritated by the presence of infection or chronic yeast overgrowth, the permeability of the inner lining can lose some of its filtering capacities. This can allow substances to enter the blood stream that should not be there. These are mostly proteins, which can then cause allergic reactions, triggering an over-stimulation of the immune system. If you feel you have Fibromyalgia, Candida, or Leaky Gut please take a minute to take my symptom evaluation test.

The best way to address leaky gut is to address the cause. From our experience leaky gut is a symptom rather than a stand-alone issue. Unless the cause is identified and addressed, it is likely the so-called leaky gut issues will remain and continually return. In the case of candida, when the organism is brought under control and there is no longer a systemic yeast overgrowth the leaky gut syndrome clears up on its own. This may be a valuable factor in addressing gastrointestinal issues often found in those with food allergies. Trying to manage leaky gut by itself is almost impossible since the cause will likely not be addressed
